Fotofinish

What is Fotofinish?

Using imaging films, photo-sensitive anodized aluminum is exposed to a rich ultraviolet light source producing a latent image. It is then developed, fixed and sealed in nickel acetate at 212° F (boiling), creating a hard finish.

The Fotofinish process combines the superior resolution of photography with the stylish look and durability of aluminum. The Fotofinish process is military approved and is used in a number of applications, including serialized identification plates and asset tags, award plaques, caution, warning, safety and instruction nameplates, and control panels, especially for outdoor items exposed to the elements.
